Wilderness Walk is a wonderful experience for children of all ages. Enjoy over 200 exotic and domestic animals. Students can visit our nursery, Farmyard, and trail of exotic animals, as well as enjoy the trout ponds. Our goats are sure to entertain! Western Town museums will take the children on a journey back to the wild west. Pan for gold, explore the mystery house and maze, and have fun in the picnic area and playground. Our nature-walking trails display new question-and-answer signs about the Northwoods. You might even spot a fawn on your walk! Snacks and beverages are available at the Crooked Creek Cafe. Souvenirs and candy are also available.

May 4* - May 23:
10am - 2pm, zoo closes at 3pm

May 24 - Labor Day:
10am - 4pm, zoo closes at 5pm

*weather permitting

- Children 2 - 11: $7.00
- Adults 12+: $13.00
- Under 2: free

Wilderness Walk Zoo Camps will be educational, entertaining, and zoo-per fun!

Each day of camp will be slightly different, focusing on a different group of animals each day. Generally, each camp will include wildlife education, games, a craft project, tours around the zoo, and building enrichment.

Camp Fee:
- Early Bird (Nov. 24th - Jan. 5th): $200

- Regular (Jan. 6th - March 31st): $250

- Last Chance (April 1st - April 30th): $300

Spend a fun-filled day with us learning about wildlife, building and giving out enrichment to the animals, a craft, playing games, and more.
Join us on a tour around the world as each day of camp will focus on an animal from a different area of the world!

This is the perfect option for your youngest animal enthusiast or first-time campers to experience what our 4 - day camp is like before signing up for the longer camp!

Each day camp is different by going around the world to learn about a different animal at each camp so your camper can enjoy participating in just one, or even all three days plus a 4 - day camp with a different experience at each camp!
