Nursery and Petting Zoo.
Every spring, new life emerges here at Wilderness Walk. From goat kids, to fawns and bunnies, there is always a new little one to see every summer. Children and adults alike can enjoy the beauty of new life in our animal nursery and petting zoo. Grab a corn cone to feed the deer, discover a furry friend or scratch a tortoise’s back for an interactive experience in the nursery.
Western Town.
The Western Town museums will take you on a journey back to the Wild West. Pan for gold, explore the mystery house and maze, stop for food and drink at the Crooked Creek Cafe and enjoy the outdoors with our picnic area and playground.
Wildlife Trail.
Enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods while walking our nature trail and learning about both native and nonnative species. Some of the animals you will encounter include ring-tailed lemurs, raccoons, black bears, coyotes, bobcats, and more!
Farmyard.
Take a stroll through Farmyard and visit some of our livestock! From chickens and goats to pigs and a llama, you can enjoy getting up close to some of our most charismatic animals that call the zoo home.
Walking Trails.
Enjoy numerous walking trails during your visit. Be sure to keep an eye out for the deer and their fawns bedded down or crossing the trail in our fully enclosed park.
