Wilderness Walk Zoo Giving Tree

Wilderness Walk Zoo’s 2nd annual “Giving Tree” is located at Wilde Gifts & Goods on Main Street in Hayward!

The “Giving Tree” gives visitors the opportunity to support the zoo during the closed season by giving a gift, gift card, or monetary donation to their favorite animal during the holiday season.

Why take part?

Enrichment is used throughout the year to enhance all aspects of an animal’s welfare by addressing the behavioral, environmental, physical, psychological and social needs of the species.

Each handmade paper ornament features an animal wish ranging from treats and toys to monetary donations, the range of cost, and where to purchase the item. Visitors can choose any ornament to take home and purchase the item listed.

Gifts can then be dropped off at the zoo, back to Wilde on Main St. or mailed directly to the zoo. Unable to purchase the item yourself? Visitors can also make a monetary donation and Wilderness Walk will purchase the item on the visitor’s behalf.
